Most memorable moment during a race or training run: Wading neck deep in a swamp full of
alligators during the 2005 USARA National Championships in Florida.   During the night all
you could see in your headlamp was pairs of orange eyes.  My teammate was trying to
convince us that they were “water skeeters” rather than alligators but it didn’t help much.
